Biography

The Aboriginal and Foreign Missions Committee was formed in 1962 and was previously named the Foreign Missions Committee. In 1988 the committee was again renamed to become the World Mission Committee.

The convenors for this committee were: 1963 Rev G Fairservice;1967 Rev A Peerman; 1980 Rev S Halford (Overseas Missions); 1985 Rev KD Allen; 1967 Rev A Peerman; 1983 Rev S Halford; 1984 Rev KD Allen.

In 1994 the name changed to Australian Presbyterian World Mission (Victoria) with convenors: 1994 Rev L Pearce; 1995 Rev K Martin; 2001 Rev P Ridgewell; 2003 Rev P Burns; 2009 Rev P Burns; 2010, Rev P Simmonds; 2016 Mr D Bennett; 2017 Dr N Johnston; 2022-24 Rev D Schulz.
