Maintenance of the Ministry Committee was created in 1949 from the merged Sustentation Fund and the Stipends Board and Beneficiary Fund.
The Beneficiary Fund consisted of funds from both the Widows and Orphans and Infirm Minister's Funds that were amalgamated and transferred to the Beneficiary Fund in 1924.
