Biography
The Widows and Orphans Fund was originally created in 1859 with the initial convenor Rev D Macdonald. Following convenors were 1876 Rev D Macdonald/J Patten; 1877 Rev Dr McDonald and 1883 Rev Dr Macdonald/J Clark.
In 1883 the fund was amalgamated with the Aged and Infirm Ministers Fund. This combined fund was later rolled into the Beneficiary Fund in 1924.
