SASDY, Geza (Stephen), Rev (1913-2007)

 Person

Assembly memorial minute, 2007

Stephen was born in Hungary on 15th November 1913 and came to Australia at the end of the Second World War. After some years of hard labouring work, he entered the Presbyterian Theological Hall. His first appointment was to the Parish of Romsey, then the Parish of Moorabool where he ministered for twenty-three years before he retired. Rev Stephen Sasdy was a faithful and loyal servant to the Lord, and is survived by his second wife Gizella and her family; his first wife, Joan, having pre-deceased him. We give thanks to God for his life and dedicated commitment to Gospel preaching and pastoral ministry. He died in his 94th year.
