During an ordained ministry of forty-three years, Mr. Clark walked the way of his Lord and Master with great distinction and kindly ministration. Christ was his companion as he watched over his people in their joys and sorrows. By prayer and precept he pointed them to Christ and to a better and more abundant life. As a cultured minister he graced pulpits of the church. His exposition of the holy scriptures revealed literary ability and understanding. "The Book of Life will never close upon the chapter he wrote in the service of the Master". Mr. Clark was a faithful presbyter and spoke with the weight of experience and knowledge of her standards and constitution.

To Mrs. Clark and her son Hugh the Assembly tender sincere sympathy.
