DUNKLEY, Arthur, Rev (1914-1964)

Born at Wangaratta in 1914.
He entered the Home Mission Course of training for the ministry and qualified for admission to the Theological Hall in 1940. Upon completing his course he was appointed to Corryong where he was ordained and inducted in August, 1943.
In 1947 he was called to Cobram, later to Mortlake and finally to Connewarre - Torquay in December, 1958. He died after a brief illness on 29th July, 1964.
Mr. Dunkley was a very faithful minister of the Word and Sacraments a good pastor and a friend to all. He earned the true affection of his people wherever he ministered. He was faithful in his attendance at the Courts of the Church, and loved the Church with a deep devotion.
The Assembly give thanks to God for his life of service and commend Mrs. Dunkley and his two sons to the love of the brethren and the Grace of God.
