Born February 20th, 1885, at Bendigo.
Died January 2nd, 1965, at Coburg.
Studied at Ormond College Theological Hall.
Ordained June 28th, 1934, at Woomelang.
Served also in the parish of Dartmoor (1937-1939).
Served the Home Mission Committee in the East Coburg Housing Estate for many years.
Gordon Wilson may best be remembered for his humble faithfulness as
a Christian minister. He was always cheerful and undertook the most menial duties in the spirit of one who, being faithful in the least, was faithful also in much. He gave special service to the Church in the early days of the development of the Housing Commission in East Coburg and continued to give service in this area long after a congregation had been established.
In giving thanks to God for his service to the Church, the Assembly also convey to Mrs. Wilson and his family their sympathy.
