Benjamin Williams was a minister of the Church beloved by all. Wann-hearted and outgoing in his concern for others, his pastoral ministry strengthened the Church wherever he ministered. This special quality was probably in greatest evidence when in 1936 he was appointed Chaplain to Hospitals, and continued this ministry of hope, consolation and encouragement for eighteen years. Many people in the community, and not only those of the Church, owe much to this special ministry; always confident and gay-spirited he passed on these qualities to others.

The Assembly give thanks to God for his life and devoted service, and convey their sympathy to the members of his family.
