The Rev. Wilfred L. Collins exercised a significant ministry over almost forty years. Faithful to his high office his whole ministry reflected this quality in true devotion to his people. Perhaps nowhere was this seen more than in the place he held in the esteem of the members of the Forces he served as Chaplain.
He accepted his full share of responsibility in the courts of the Church and was honoured in South Australia by his elevation to the Moderatorship of the General Assembly.
Humble in spirit and outgoing in his warmth of brotherliness he earned a true place in the company of his brethren.
The Assembly gives thanks to God for his life and ministry and commends his wife and family to the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
