Marshall Stopford Campbell ministered for almost forty-eight years and continued his ministry beyond the years when most seek retirement. The outstanding quality of his ministry was his faithfulness to the duties of his high office. He did not marry, but was helped by the devoted service of his sister.
The Assembly gives thanks to God for his long life and faithful ministry of Word and Sacrament and conveys its sympathy to his surviving brother and sisters, particularly his sister who ministered so faithfully to his personal needs.
