The Rev. Sydney Cleverdon Hadley died on 30th October 1969.
Ordained at Glencoe in South Australia in June 1919, Mr. Hadley served the Parishes of Glencoe, Woodend, Elwood, Thornbury and Albert Park. He celebrated the jubilee of his ordination in 1969.
The Assembly gives thanks to God for his life, witness and service as a minister of the Gospel. The Assembly would place on record particularly their appreciation of his pastoral concern, his preaching gifts, and his constant striving to relate the Gospel to the whole of life.
