The Rev. William Kelly was ordained in 1923 on his call to Che1tenham/Black Rock parish. He laboured also at Torquay/Connewarre being called from there in 1939 to St. John's, Ballarat where he ministered until his retirement in 1968 at the age of 89.
The General Assembly gives thanks to God for the life, witness and service of the Rev. William Kelly, especially for his long faithful parish ministry marked by a genuine concern for the people among whom he laboured.
The Assembly remembers also with appreciation his chaplaincy at the Ballarat Mental Hospital and his interest in the wider work of the Church.
