HULL, Henry Tremlett, Rev. (1858-1933)
Assembly memorial minute 1933
Mr. Hull was born at Hobart, November 22, 1858. He received his training for the ministry at Ormond College. He began his ministry at Gala Kirk, Cranbrook, Tasmania, afterwards serving at Ulverstone. In 1892 he went to Mount Pleasant, South Australia, where he remained seven years.
His charges in Victoria were Warracknabeal, Linton, St. Arnaud, and Skipton, retiring from the active ministry fourteen years ago. Though without a charge, he continued to render useful and acceptable service. He was an elder of St. George’s, East St. Kilda, and preached there and elsewhere. He died January 1, 1933, aged seventy-five.
Mr. Hull was a devoted and successful minister in the various parishes to which he was appointed. He was well known as a philatelist, and in this capacity did useful service for the Church.
We give our sympathy to his sons and daughter.
